Biographical notes:

Went to Martinborough School.

Alexander was admitted to the hospital ship with influenza on 11 April 1915 and was discharged on 13 April 1915. Landed in Gallipoli 27 April 1915 and was killed in action during an attack on Hill 60. His body was not found.
