Blake, of West Taratahi. The deceased was a well-known Wairarapa footballer and played for the Carterton Club. He was very popular with all whom he came in contact with, owing to his genial disposition. His death well be deeply regretted by a wide circle of friends, who will extend to the relatives their sympathy in the loss sustained."
