Arthur, Mary-Alice. New Zealand. 1996, 2004, 2006
It's a long way from the banks of the Wabash River in Indiana to the shores of the Pacific and Wellington, but since 1984 Mary-Alice has called New Zealand home. She is well known both in New Zealand and overseas for her work using storytelling within corporate organizations as a means to facilitate change and enhance communication. She has been a featured teller in a number of Soul Food Storytelling productions and is the founder and co-ordinator of the long running Wellington Storytellers Café. Mary-Alice's travels have given her both a global perspective and the ability to touch the tender space that makes us human. She blends a love for beginnings and endings with tales that touch the heart - and other places!
