Welcome to Kete Masterton

Your Stories - Your Pictures - Your Kete

Kete Masterton has been created to capture and preserve the memories, stories and activities of the people of Masterton. Kete (the Māori word for basket) is open source software, originally developed by Katipo Communications and the Horowhenua Library Trust.  Kete can be used by individuals and community groups to upload documents, photographs, audio or video, and then group them together in 'baskets'.

Kete Masterton is provided for you by the Masterton District Library and Wairarapa Archive through The Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa. http://kete.net.nz/ is the home of the Kete software community; for those that are using Kete, thinking about using it, or just interested in knowing more.
